⚠️ Things To Watch Out / Compare Closely

  • Waiting periods (for pre-existing diseases, specific illnesses) vary a lot between plans.

  • Some plans require medical tests above certain ages or sum insured thresholds.

  • Check what is optional vs what is included by default (e.g. maternity cover, AYUSH, ambulance).

  • Consider network hospitals count and whether they offer cashless facility where you are.

  • Premium vs benefit trade-off depends on how much you expect to use the health service, as well as your family’s medical history.
