Centurion University, Paralakhemundi Campus

Overview

Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) is a private university in Odisha, India. Its Paralakhemundi campus, located in Gajapati district, served as the original main campus of the institution before this designation was shifted to the Jatni campus on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The university was accorded its present status in 2010.

CUTM has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A+' grade, becoming the youngest private university to receive this distinction. In addition to its principal campuses at Paralakhemundi and Bhubaneswar, the university operates regional campuses at Balangir, Rayagada, Balasore and Chhatrapur.

The Paralakhemundi campus, along with the wider university, offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across a range of disciplines. These include engineering and technology, agricultural sciences, architecture, planning and design, mining, teachers' education, media and communication, paramedics and allied health sciences, pharmacy and life sciences, management, and applied sciences. The campus also runs a number of vocational trades, reflecting the university's broader focus on skill-integrated education.

In 2016, the Bhubaneswar campus of the university was ranked 81 among institutions offering engineering education in India by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
