Dr. K. N. Modi University is a state private university located in Newai, in the Tonk district of Rajasthan, India. Established under the laws of the Government of Rajasthan, the university is part of the educational initiatives associated with the Modi family of industrialists, and is named after Dr. Kedar Nath Modi, founder of the Modi Group of Industries.

The university was set up by the Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation, a trust associated with the Modi industrial group, which has historically been active in education and philanthropy in northern India. It was established as a private university through an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature, which authorises it to award degrees recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The campus is situated at Newai, a town in Tonk district along the Jaipur–Kota corridor in eastern Rajasthan. The location places the university within commuting distance of Jaipur, the state capital, and provides access to road and rail connectivity in the region.
The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across disciplines such as engineering and technology, management, commerce, sciences, humanities, education, law, pharmacy and agriculture.
