Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University is a state public university located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is an affiliating university serving colleges across several districts in the Awadh region of eastern Uttar Pradesh, and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across the faculties of arts, science, commerce, education, law, engineering, and management. The university is named after the socialist leader and political theorist Ram Manohar Lohia.

The university was established as an affiliating institution to coordinate higher education in the districts of the Awadh region, an area historically associated with the kingdom of Awadh and the city of Ayodhya. It was originally known as Avadh University and was later renamed in honour of Ram Manohar Lohia. Following the renaming of Faizabad district to Ayodhya in 2018, the university's location is officially recorded as Ayodhya.
The campus is situated on the outskirts of Ayodhya–Faizabad and houses departmental teaching, research centres, and administrative offices, while the bulk of student enrolment is through affiliated degree colleges spread across the region.
