Krrish is an Indian Hindi-language superhero film franchise created, produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan under the banner of FilmKraft Productions. The narrative spans three released films and follows three generations of a single family, beginning with a science-fiction tale and evolving into a mainstream superhero saga.

The franchise originated with Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), a science-fiction film inspired thematically by extraterrestrial-encounter cinema. In it, Hrithik Roshan played Rohit Mehra, a developmentally challenged young man whose life changes after contact with an alien named Jadoo. The film's commercial and critical success prompted Rakesh Roshan to develop a sequel that shifted the storytelling towards the superhero genre, leading to Krrish (2006), in which Rohit's son Krishna acquires superhuman abilities and adopts the masked identity "Krrish".
The third instalment, Krrish 3 (2013), expanded the universe by introducing a fully realised superhero antagonist, Kaal, played by Vivek Oberoi, along with mutant characters referred to as "maanvars". The franchise is notable for being among the first in Hindi cinema to use significant visual effects budgets to depict superhero action.

The Krrish franchise holds a notable place in Hindi cinema for several reasons:
The franchise has been extended through ancillary media including comic books published in association with Indian comics imprints, an animated television series titled Kid Krrish, and various consumer merchandise. The character has also appeared in promotional crossover material with public-interest campaigns in India.
