Pavitra Rishta is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series that aired on Zee TV from 1 June 2009 to 25 October 2014. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the Balaji Telefilms banner, the show was set in Mumbai and focused on the lives of two middle-class Maharashtrian families. It became one of the most popular Hindi soap operas of its era and ran for over 1,400 episodes across multiple seasons and time leaps.

The series centred on Manav Deshmukh, a humble garage mechanic, and Archana Karanjkar, a young woman from a traditional Marathi household, whose arranged marriage forms the emotional core of the narrative. The story explored themes of duty, sacrifice, family relationships, and the bond between husband and wife in a middle-class Indian setting. Over its run, the show introduced several generational leaps, shifting focus to the children of the original protagonists.
Pavitra Rishta was conceived as a reworking of certain themes drawn from the Tamil serial Thirumathi Selvam. It was shot primarily in Mumbai. The show used a Marathi cultural backdrop, with characters speaking Hindi inflected with Marathi expressions, and incorporated festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi into its storylines.

Pavitra Rishta 2.0 premiered on ZEE5 on 15 September 2021 as a streaming-only continuation/retelling. Ankita Lokhande returned as Archana, with Shaheer Sheikh playing Manav. A second season followed in 2022.
