Satish Mishra

Satish Chandra Mishra (born 9 November 1952) is an Indian politician and lawyer associated with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). He has held senior roles within the party organisation and has served in legislative and ministerial capacities in Uttar Pradesh and at the national level.

A lawyer by profession, Mishra served as a cabinet minister in the Mayawati-led government in Uttar Pradesh. His legal background has been a notable element of his political career within the BSP.

Mishra was a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India, with his term concluding on 2 April 2022. He has subsequently served as the All India General Secretary of the Bahujan Samaj Party, taking on a key organisational role within the party.
