Satish Chandra Sharma (11 October 1947 – 17 February 2021) was an Indian politician affiliated with the Indian National Congress. Over the course of his public career, he served as a member of the Union Cabinet in the Government of India and held seats in the Lok Sabha.
Sharma was widely regarded as a close associate of Rajiv Gandhi, and his political trajectory was shaped by this proximity to the Nehru–Gandhi family. Following Rajiv Gandhi's assassination, Sharma continued to remain close to Sonia Gandhi, who emerged as a central figure within the Congress party.
His parliamentary tenure included representation in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. As a Union Cabinet Minister, he was part of the council of ministers that constitutes the senior executive of the Government of India. Sharma passed away on 17 February 2021.
