Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is a state public university located in Surat, Gujarat, India. It serves as the principal affiliating and teaching university for the southern districts of Gujarat, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across a wide spectrum of disciplines including arts, science, commerce, management, law, engineering, and education. The university is named after the nineteenth-century Gujarati poet, essayist, and reformer Narmad (Narmadashankar Lalshankar Dave), who is widely regarded as a pioneer of modern Gujarati literature.
