Overview
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur (AIIMS Bilaspur) is an Indian public medical school and hospital located in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. It is designated as an Institute of National Importance and forms part of the network of All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMSs) established across the country.
The foundation stone of the institute was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2017. The institute was subsequently inaugurated in October 2022.

Background
AIIMS Bilaspur is part of the wider expansion of the AIIMS network, under which the Government of India has established multiple institutes of national importance modelled on the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences. As an institution within this network, AIIMS Bilaspur functions as both a tertiary care hospital and a centre for medical education in Himachal Pradesh.
The project moved from the foundation stone ceremony in October 2017 to formal inauguration in October 2022, marking the institute's entry into operation as a functioning AIIMS in the hill state.
