Overview

Garden City University, formerly known as Garden City College, is a private university located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The institution was established in 1992 and has since grown into a university offering higher education programmes.

The university was founded by Dr. Joseph V.G., along with several academic contemporaries who contributed to shaping the institution in its early years. These included Prof. Shivarudrappa, a former dean of Karnataka University; Dr. Hanumanthappa, a former vice-chancellor of Bangalore University; Prof. V.B. Coutinho, vice-chancellor of Gulbarga University; and Prof. Rame Gowda, a former vice-chancellor of Karnataka State Open University.
