Overview
Government Medical College, Nizamabad, also referred to as Nizamabad Medical College, is a public medical institution located in Nizamabad, Telangana, India. The college was established to expand access to medical education in the northern Telangana region and to support the training of medical professionals serving the state.
The institution commenced its academic activities in the 2013–2014 academic year. As a government-run medical college, it forms part of the network of public medical education institutions in Telangana.
The college is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, the state university responsible for health science education in Telangana. Through this affiliation, the college follows the curriculum, examination patterns and academic regulations prescribed by the university for undergraduate medical studies.
