The campus includes departmental laboratories, a central library, computer centres, seminar halls, and separate hostels for men and women. Facilities for sports, training and placement, and student activities are part of the institution's infrastructure.

Recognition

The institution has been granted autonomous status, allowing it to design its own curriculum and conduct its own examinations within the regulatory framework of Anna University, the University Grants Commission, and AICTE. Several of its engineering programmes have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Student life

Students at PSNACET participate in technical symposia, cultural festivals, and departmental association events. Professional chapters affiliated with bodies such as the Institution of Engineers (India), the Computer Society of India, and the Indian Society for Technical Education function within the college, providing avenues for technical learning beyond the regular curriculum.

Significance

As one of the older self-financing engineering colleges in the Dindigul–Madurai belt, PSNACET has contributed to the spread of technical education in the region, drawing students primarily from Tamil Nadu and producing graduates who join industry, government services, and higher studies in India and abroad.
