Overview
Sunil Singh is an Indian politician and a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. He represents the Noapara constituency in West Bengal, having won the seat in a by-election held in February 2018.
Singh contested the Noapara seat as a candidate of the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). In addition to his legislative role, he served as the chairman of the Garulia municipality, a position he held until September 2019.
In June 2019, Singh joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He subsequently withdrew from the municipal councillor candidature on 12 February 2022, leaving the BJP, and rejoined the Trinamool Congress on 13 February 2022.
