Overview
Vinod Kumar is an Indian politician and social worker associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He represents the Nachan Assembly constituency in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
He is serving his third term as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), having won the seat consecutively since 2012 on a BJP ticket. His tenure has coincided with periods of BJP government in Himachal Pradesh.
In the 2022 Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, Vinod Kumar retained the Nachan seat by defeating Naresh Kumar of the Indian National Congress by a margin of 8,956 votes.
