Overview
Zoram Medical College and Hospital, previously known as Mizoram Institute of Medical Education & Research, is the first medical college in the state of Mizoram, India. The institution was established to address the growing demand for doctors within the state.
The college was inaugurated on 7 August 2018 by the then Chief Minister of Mizoram, Lal Thanhawla. It is located at Falkawn, approximately 16 km (9.9 mi) from Aizawl.
